The Primary Principal (JK-Grade 4) is a key member of the Education Program Team and plays a central role in cultivating a vibrant, safe, and engaging learning environment. Through instructional leadership, relationship-building, and operational oversight, the Primary Principal ensures the consistent delivery of the Montcrest curriculum and pedagogical philosophy while supporting students, families and faculty.

At this time, the Primary Principal also holds a school-wide Operational Portfolio, supporting the effective functioning of the Education Program across divisions. Portfolio assignments reflect current operational needs and may evolve over time; formal reporting lines and role authority remain unchanged.

Montcrest Supply Teachers play an integral role in our school community. They help maintain the continuity of learning with classes ranging from JK to Grade 8 in Homeroom and Specialist areas. They demonstrate a relationship-based approach to teaching that reflects a personalized and differentiated approach to learning. Supply Teachers are called in as needed from Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They engage in a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, classroom teaching, recess and lunch duties, as well as drop-off and pick-up supervision.
