The Montcrest Community Garden is a project that will transform the outdoor space behind our 664 Broadview Ave building. It will become a vibrant hub for hands-on learning in gardening, farming, cooking, and environmental sustainability—a key part of our strategic plan to connect students with the city, the farm, and the forest.
This vital community and learning space at 664 Broadview Avenue will include, but is not limited to:
Kitchen Pavilion
with BBQs, pizza ovens, and space to prep, cook, and serve food.
Garden Beds
for growing fruit, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
Firepit
with a patio and seating area for community events.
Our dedicated architectural team has designed the Community Garden with a strong focus on enhanced sustainability practices and innovative programming possibilities for our students. This thoughtful approach ensures a long-term vision that can adapt and expand across our current and future properties.
